Ellis Adams age 83, of Jeremiah, Ky., passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Whitesburg ARH.
He was born May 24, 1929, in Jeremiah, Ky., son of the late Stephen and Lucinda Back Adams.
He was a retired carpenter, Moderator of Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church, And a Loving Husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by parents, Stephen and Lucinda Back Adams, son, Ellis Craig Adams.
Surviving are his wife, Ila Whitaker Adams of Jeremiah, KY., two sons, Jerry (Bonita) Adams of Jeremiah, KY., Scott (Lisa) Adams of Jeremiah, KY., daughter, Tammy Adams of
Jeremiah, KY., two sisters, Lucille Gilkeson of Dayton, OH., Pressie Adams of Isom, KY., grandchildren, Liberty, Lyndci, Chelsie, Kodi., great-grandchildren, Noah, Braiden, Sadie.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday December 22, 2012, at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church at Jeremiah, Ky., with Elwood Cornett, Toby Breeding, Don Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Adams Cemetery Jeremiah, Kentucky
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012, at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church at Jeremiah, Ky., with services at 7 P.M.
