Marion Eugene Baxter, 65, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away at a local hospital on April 2, 2001. He was born September 9, 1935 in Peralta, NM, the son of the late Eliga and Ola (Norris) Baxter. Eugene served in the US Navy from 1954 to 1964 and owned and operated his own bookkeeping service, Baxter Business Services, here in Albuquerque for many years. He was a member of Cristo del Valle Presbyterian Church. Three sons, Eugene, Terrence, and Gary Baxter preceded him in death. Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Jo (Bishop) Baxter, of Albuquerque, his mother-in-law, Oleta Bishop, of Albuquerque; niece, Deborah Kaiser, of Belen, nephew Steve Baxter of Albuquerque; brother Alvin Baxter, of Belen.
