Willie Albert Beard- was born June 22, 1936. He departed this life on November 28, 2006. He was preceded in death by Mamie Beard his wife, father Will Beard, mother Willie Beard, and his sister Alice Rice. He leaves to cherish his loving memories to eight loving children, Charles (Veronica) White, Harold (Beatrice) White, Cynthia Louise Beard, Vincent (Jawanna) Beard, Jonita (Carl) Thomas, Lenora Beard, Michael (Brenda) Beard and Eric Beard. Three sisters, Essie (Earnest) Jones, Willa Dean Emerson and Betty (Dave) English, four brothers, Herman (Hattie) Beard, Alton (Maybell) Beard, Raymond Beard and Zed (Leatha) Beard, and devoted aunt Laura Williams. He also leaves to cherish 19 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a host of nieces , two devoted, Cynthia Andrews, Sharon Turner and host of nephews. And four devoted friends, Charles Stephens, Elijah Safford, Reginald Chapman, Coy Jerry King. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 2, 2006 at The Church of God, 7470 Coy Smith Hwy, Citronelle, AL from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. And the funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Minister Betty Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery. The arrangements by Reese Funeral Home, 925 S. Bessemer Av., Prichard, AL 36610.
