Mr. Harvey Chirnside, 79, of Fulton, MO died on Friday, August 19, 1994 at the Callaway Community Hospital in Fulton. He was born on December 2, 1914, in Franklin, Nebraska, a son of the late Edward & Ida (Gehrt) Chirnside. He married Fae (Hoffmeyer) in 1934 and she survives. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Maynard Chirnside (memorial #96098125) and Raymond Chirnside (memorial #97005992) .
Mr. Chirnside moved to the Fulton area with his parents at an early age and attended schools in Callaway County. He had made his home in Fulton for more than 60 years. He was a salesman for the Backer Brothers Store in Fulton, and then became an agent for the Shelter Insurance Co. (then M.F.A. Insurance) and retired after 38 years.
Funeral services were at the Court Street United Methodist Church in Fulton, with the Reverend Jim Robinson officiating. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Fulton.
