James L. SHIPMAN

KENEDY - James Leo Shipman, 77, of Kenedy, died Tuesday, June 24,
2003.
He was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Abilene, to the late James Shipman. He
was a switchman for Southern Pacific Railroad and a member of Our
Lady of Peace Catholic Church. He was an U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors: sons, James Shipman and Scott Shipman, both of San
Antonio, and Stan Shipman of Cibolo; five grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Peace
Catholic Church.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Mauricio
Lopez officiating.

Burial will be at Pawnee Cemetery. Eckols Funeral Home, 830-583-2533.
