Indian Killed Near Marshall's
Alex Palo, a half breed Indian fisherman, was instantly killed by train No. 85 of the Northwestern road at Fisherman's Point, near Marshall, this county, at about 12 o'clock Sunday, July 2nd. He was apparently sleeping on the track when the engine struck him. A bottle of whiskey was found near him and the indications are that he had imbibed too freely and had fallen asleep on the track.
He was 24 years old and has a mother, three brothers, and a sister living at Fisherman's Point.
