Everett James Bentley, 539 Mount Olivet road, died early this morning in Pulaski hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Willie Turpin Bentley; a foster daughter, Miss Janie Turpin Morford, Michigan; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Bentley, Pulaski; five brothers, Frank K. Bentley, Kansas City, MO, Clarence, Edward, Roy & Dewey Bentley, Pulaski; and five sisters, Mrs. J.A. Roope, Mrs. Philip Dunnigan, Mrs. S.A. Fanning, Mrs. Lawrence Pughe and Roxie Bentley, Pulaski. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the east Main street Church of God, with the Rev. Roy Douglas officiating. Interment will be in Newbern cemetery. The body will be removed to the home from Vaughan-Guynn funeral home late this afternoon, and will remain there until the time of the service.
