LITTLE HARRY LAIRD.
Died, in Hamburg precinct, Wenesday evening, June 17, 1896, Harry, infant son of James and Rutha Laird, aged 15 months and 21 days.
It is with feelings of sorrow that we write a few lines in remembrance o little Harry Laird, who was, last Wednesday evening, called from the sorrows of earth to a happier home in Heaven. He will not only be missed from the home circle, but in the whole neighborhood, as he was everybody's pet. He was like a tender plant blossoming here a few short months, cherished by all, and then fading away to blossom again in Heaven.
He leaves a father, mother and many relatives to mourn his loss. He was buried in the Crader cemetery Thursday evening.
Darling Harry, thou has left us,
In this lonley world to roam,
Jesus saw it best to take thee
To that bright eternal home.
God knows best, we should not murmur,
He has called you home to dwell,
May this trial prove a blessing,
For he doeth all things well.
May we meet our dearest loved ones
In the distant not afar,
When we go within the Heaven
Through the gate that stand ajar.
