He was born in Johnson City, Texas on June 17, 1940 to Joseph Marion and Dorris Letty Hyatt Glover. He graduated from Gonzales High School in Texas. He began his college studies at Texas A & M University and graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors degree in Business. After graduating he served as captain in the Engineering & Transportation Corp in the Army. In 1967 he began his career in sales in Atlanta with United States Steel. He later formed his own company, Revolg, moving to Charlotte, North Carolina and later to Blowing Rock. He continued his career as a manufactures' representative until his retirement in 2008. He was a past member of the Charlottes Bachelors Club and The Charlotte Tower Club. He was also a former member of the Hounds Ear Club and charter member of Westglow in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. He was a longtime member of St. Mary's of the Hills Episcopal Church.
His parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by a sister, a brother, one aunt, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor Eddie's life will be celebrated Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at St. Mary's of the Hills Episcopal Church.
