The Anal Cemetery
AKA Locust Grove Cemetery
Location East of Mile Marker 12 off Hwy 84, North of Fort Sumner. ..... I was unable to locate the turn on my first trip with my...less than enthusiastic...daughter, therefore, we traveled on...toward Ft Sumner when road construction caused us to Detour, our path took us directly to the Fort Sumner Cemetery where we located several of our relatives. To my delight! Divine Guidance...

While we were searching a Gentleman ask us if he could help us, thinking we were the people who had an appointment with him. He was the funeral director and when we explained we could not find the Anal Cemetery, he took his phone, called his wife when we arrived home in Arizona there was a map and listing in the mail. Divine Guidance! I was able to find the cemetery the next trip (after going to a house and asking directions, Ha!)

My third visit was with Loveta Black Clark, Milton and Helen White, after visiting the cemetery, we drove to the ranch house where Loveta lived when her grandfather Rigdon Leroy Black passed away. Rigdon and Mary were on their way to Oregon to visit his daughter Bertha, they stopped at son Steve (Loveta and Ellavie's father) where Rigdon took sick and died. Mary went on to Oregon and later died and is buried in California.

That trip would be the last time for me to see Loveta and Ellavie. What a joy to be with them, and hear their stories. Jeanette Perrin Coaly
