Services for John Robert Albin, 59, of Murray will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Imes-Miller Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery.
Mr. Albin died at 10:05 a.m. Monday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
A native of Detroit, Mr. Albin was an employee of Lambert Vending Co., and was a custodian at Murray Elementary School. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Irell Duncan Albin; three stepdaughters, Patricia Ann Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rose Marie Collins and Melissa Ann Johnson, both of Murray; two stepsons, Dennis Collins of Del City, Okla., and Tony Ray Jackson of Murray; one brother, James Albin of Murray; two sisters, Kitty Solomon of Murray, and Winona Jackson of Flint, Mich.; nine stepgrandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents were Thurman and Farrah Faye Robertson Albin.
