Dena Louise Conrad Friddle, 72, passed away in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, on February 14, 2011, with her husband Bob and son Mike at her side.
Dena was born in Porterville, California, on November 1, 1938. Dena made her home in Bedford, Wyoming. She was the daughter of Mike and Bertha Conrad of Janesville, California. She is survived by her husband, Robert Friddle of Bedford, Wyoming, her sons, Michael Friddle of Wyoming, Ryan (Donna) Friddle and granddaughter, Rylee, step-daughters Chelsey Alexander and Taylor Moss of Susanville, California. She is survived by her sisters, Helen Watson of Visalia, California and Susan Wannebo (Don) of Susanville, California. She had numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Dena started school at Doyle Colony elementary school in Porterville, along with her older sister, and various McDonell cousins. When Dena was 12 years old when her family (Mike, Bertha, Susan, Dena) moved to Doyle and then to Janesville, California. She attended local schools and graduated from Lassen High School in 1957. Dena and Bob were married in Reno, Nevada, on February 27, 1960, and would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.
The Friddle's lived in the Palmdale-Lancaster area early in their marriage, later moving to Truckee, California and then Chester, California. When Bob retired they moved to Bedford, Wyoming.
