CULLMAN — James Martin Key

Funeral services for James Martin Key, 82, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at Mt. Vernon Primitive Baptist Church, Elders Darrell Chambers and Heath Williams officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Key passed away Tuesday, April 1, at St. Vincent's East Hospital. He was born March 16, 1932, to James Clyde and Vera Mae Reid Key. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Primitive Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife and mother of his children, Betty Chambers Key; and his wife, Bonzie Daniels Key.

Survivors include his son, Greg (Sharon) Key; two daughters, Julie Key (Phillip) Johnson and Angela (Rob) Egli; two brothers, John (Joan) Key and Leon (Linda) Key; three grandchildren, Cody (Carye Anne) Key, Chase Egli and Tyler Egli; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
