Edvin Anderson was born in Sweden on February 17, 1849. He came to Minnesota in 1884. He located in Viding Township of Clay County, MN about April 1895.
The 1900 Federal Census for Viding Township of Clay County, MN shows the following about Edvin Anderson: He was married about 1877 to Christina. Christina was born in Sweden in July 1851. They have had four children and only one, Swen A., born in March 1884, has come with them. Christina and Swen came to the US in 1899 some fifteen years after Edvin arrived in America. They are farmers and their neighbors are the John Christensons and the Jens Reppens. Edvin died at the age of 53 and left Christina a widow at the age of 50 years.
