Death of Mrs.Carpenter.
Mrs. Chas. Carpenter, one of the pioneer women of Red Lake county, died of cancer, Sunday, Nov. 2, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Matt Moonan of Dorothy
Mrs. Carpenter and her husband came to Red Lake county thirty-five years ago and settled in Louisville township, where they resided for twenty years.
They moved to Lambert township and resided there three years and then went to Canada and settled on a Claim. Mr. Carpenter died six years ago last August. Mrs. Carpenter came from Canada and since that time she had been visiting with relatives.
The body was taken to Lambert for burial beside that of her husband. The pall bearers were Mrs. Carpenter's daughter, chosen by her before her death: Mrs. George Pepin, Mrs. John Barrett, Mrs. Fred Marcott, Mrs. Delia Nikeson, Mrs. Matt Moonan, Mrs. Jos. Carpenter.
Mrs. Carpenter is survived by eleven Children. They are Mrs. George Pepin of Dorothy, Mrs. Thom Jergeson of Kinney,Minn., Mrs. Fred Marcott of White Bear, Mrs. Phil.

John Barrett of Crookston, Mrs. Delia of Humbolt Canada, Mrs. Frank Nickeson of Rutland, Mrs, Matt Moonan of Dorothy,Joe Carpenter of Dorothy, Adolph Carpenter of Lambert Fred Carpenter of Prince Albert.
