Mrs. Mary Butler, Area Resident, Dies at Age 82
Mrs. Mary Butler, 82, resident of the Signor community, passed away Saturday at the Hayward Hospital.
Mrs. Butler was born April 4, 1881, at Danbury, WI, coming to this community at an early age to make her home.
Surviving are three sons, Max of Stone Lake, Frank and Joseph of Hayward; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Schulz of Menomonie, Wis, Mrs. Anna Greene of Clinton, Iowa, and Lucy Butler of Stone Lake; 36 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The body was in state at the home of her son, Frank. Tribal rites were conducted Monday afternoon. Interment was in Northwoods Beach Burial Grounds.
The Koerpel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
