Velma G Welch, 75, of Richland, died Friday November 24, 1989, at Stevens Memorial Hospital in Edmonds, Wash.

She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on February 23, 1914, and had lived in the Tri Cities since 1943. She was a homemaker.

Mrs Welch is survived by a daughter, Patricia L Noe of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.; two sisters, Vera Maassen of Oakland Iowa, and Veva Collings,of Texas; and three grandchildren, Darrin, Jeremy and Darci.

Velma was married to Lloyd Welch, in Iowa, and they both moved to Richland Washington, to Benton county, an era known as the Tri-Cities.

Velma was the daughter of Amos "Roy" and Grace (Bolio) Schwinderman from Carson, Pottawattamie County, in Iowa.
