Graveside services for Baby Ny'Jah Carter Brooks, son of LaCarla and Nelson Brooks of Weems, were held 10 A.M. Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Emmanuel Christian Fellowship in Warsaw, Virginia with Pastor Michael Taylor, Officiating.

Ny'Jah Carter Brooks was born Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in the home of his parents LaCarla and Nelson Brooks in Weems, Virginia.

A rosebud has been picked from the garden by a very special angel.

Our hearts are broken and saddened we know it wasn't a mistake ‘cause

Only God knows who he wants to take everyday we'll look at your picture

And let our love for you grow Son, you will always be with me

Our love for you will always be He cares, I know He cares

Our hearts are touched with grief when the days are weary

The long nights are dreary we know our Lord cares

He is survived by his parents: LaCarla and Nelson Brooks; two sisters: Dynasty and Desire; grandparents: Carroll and Marcing Diggs of Heathsville, Virginia Lewis and Phyllis Brown of Ottomon, Virginia; four uncles: Keith (Bethany) of Las Vegas' Terrell (Latoya) of Lancaster, Virginia Carolmane Diggs of Heathsville, Virginia; A'adam Brooks of Ottomon; great grandmother, Eleanor Thompson of Edwardsville, Virginia; great grandfather, James A Blackwellof Baltimore, Maryland; two aunts: Maria of Ottomon and Grace Brooks New York; great aunts: Dr. Alicia Armstrong of Kinston, Maryland; Betty Drake, Carolyn Palmer and Shirlene Diggs all of Heathsville, Virginia; three great uncles: Milford (Sharon) Diggs, Rudy Blackwell of Burgess, Virginia and David Brooks of Pennsylvania; godmother, Lisa Veney; a host of family and friends.
