Funeral services for Jimmy Dale Kincy, 70, of Megargel were held Tuesday, March 22, at the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Harvey McQueen, minister of Megargel Church of Christ, officiating.
Interment followed at the Kincy Farm in Archer County with arrangements under direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
Mr. Kincy was born Nov. 27,1934, in Megargel to the late J.W. and Aline (Lovern) Kincy. He died Saturday, March 19, 2005, in Olney Hamilton Hospital.
He and Julia Toffoli were married Sept. 12, 1994, in Megargel.
Mr. Kincy served in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic. He worked for Brown and Root Pipeline Construction in the 1960s and 1970s.
For 10 years he worked in West Africa for Cabinda Gulf and nine years for Southern Natural Gas. For the past year he was a pipeline construction supervisor for Mustang Engineering in Houston.
A resident of Megargel most of his life he also fanned and ranched on the family farm.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife Julia Kincy of Megargel; five sons James William "Billy" Kincy III and wife Debi of Valley View; Jimmy Dale Kincy, Jr. and wife Dylene of Anahuac, Gary Wayne Kincy and wife Michelle of Birmingham, Ala.; Ronald Glen Kincy of Megargel and Clelio Toffoli of Brazil; four daughters Kimi Brignac and husband Danny of White Castle, La., Juliane Toffoli of Megargel, Renee Cox and husband Jim of Gainesville and Tanja Marie Bennett of Lufkin; a sister Beverly Price of Clear Lake; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
