Ms. Kay Howard, age 50, died on Sunday after a short illness at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah. She was employed with Heritage Inn Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church in Brooklet.
She is survived by two daughters, Kendra Taylor of Atlanta and Kim Taylor of Statesboro; five sisters, Linda Johnson of Atlanta, Sylvia Gail Jefferson of Sylvania, Julia Ann Howard, Gloria Williams and Rebecca Lanier, all of Statesboro; two brothers, Jerome Hamilton of Statesboro and Freddie Howard of Brooklet; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Little Bethel Baptist Church in Brooklet. Burial will be at Little Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble & Sons Funeral Home.
