Miss Josephine Howard, 62, died Wednesday morning at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
The Bulloch County native was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church, Brooklet.
She is survived by her father, Nick Howard Sr., Brooklet; three brothers, J. D. Howard, Pembroke, Freddie Howard, Brooklet and Nick Howard Jr., Statesboro; five sisters, Mrs. Linda Howard Johnson, Atlanta, Ms. Kay Frances Howard, Ms. Julia Ann Howard, Ms. Gloria Dean Howard and Ms. Rebecca Howard, all of Statesboro; and a host of other relatives.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday at three p.m. at the Little Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Benjamin N. Jones, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. James R. Barnes Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
