Refugia Acosta, 89, died Wednesday at her residence in Silver City. Mrs. Acosta was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and had been a resident of Si!ver City for years. She was a communicant of Saint Vincent's Catholic Church and was a member of the Guadalupanas and Silver Senior Citizens. Mrs. Acosta owned and operated a licensed foster home for the state for 25 years. She is survived by five daughters, Fernanda Espinosa of Pico Rivera, Calif., Juanita Arcilano of Tucson, Ariz., Ageda Gonzales of Pico Rivera Calif.,Mary Jane Martinez of Socorro and Peggy Geiger of Norfolk, Va.; four sons, lsaias Espinosa of Norwalk, Calif., Albert Espinosa and Paul Espinosa of Silver City and Sylvester Lopez of Bellflower, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Rosary recitation will be held at 8 tonight in the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, and Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a. in. Friday at St. Vincent's with Monsignor. James Milano officiating at both services. Interment will follow in the Silver City Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers wil1 be Rolando Arellano, William Arellanono, Michael Arellano, Frankie Espinosa, Robert Gonza1es Eusebio Abeyta. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesus Alvarado, Ruben Alvarado and Edward Alvarado. Arrangements are by the Wheeler Funeral Home of Silver City.
