Frank, a resident of Hernandez, was predeceased by son Leonard Floyd Manzanares; parents Narciso and Rosana Manzanares; and sister Vicky Madrid of Hernandez.
Frank was survived by his wife of 56 years, Sophie; sister Agrepina Gonzales of Norwalk, California; sons: David (wife Julia) of El Rancho; Leonard (wife Rachel) of Chamita; daughters: Elizabeth Martinez (husband Edward) of Chamita; Marlene Martin (husband Gary) of Chamita; Joyce Foropoulos (husband Jerry) of Los Alamos; Judy Chavez (husband Jimmy) of Chamita; Elaine Rodriguez (husband james) of La Villita; 16 grandchildren: Jennifer Herrera (husband Peter), Yvette Manzanares-Valdez (husband Matthew), Betty Jo Hart (husband Kevin), April Maestas (husband Justin), Eddie and Monique Martinez, Mario and Anna Ortiz, Justin Salazar, Myrriah, Amanda, and Marisa Chavez, Alicia, Gabrielle, and Emelee Rodriguez, and Megan Manzanares; 9 great-grandchildren: Jon Paul, Andrew, Brandy, and Julianna Herrera, Kaiden Hart, Kenny and Joylynn Martinez, Dionicio Maestas, and Matthew Martinez.
Frank was a meticulous tile setter and carpet layer for 40 years. He took pride in his work. Aside from his business, he loved spending time working his farm in Chamita. He loved taking his harvest to various farmer's markets. He also enjoyed and was often seen giving out samples of his delicious tomatos. He always made time for his family and and especially loved the family gathering wherever they were held.
Visitation and devotional service at Victory Faith Church in Espaņola. Funeral services were was on May 9 also at Victory Faith. Burial followed at Templo Sion Cemetery in Hernandez. Pallbearers: Mario Ortiz, Justin Salazar, John Paul Herrera, Eddie Martinez, Harold Madrid, and Alfonso "Poncho" Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers were Edward MArtinez, David Salazar, Gary Martin, James Rodriguez, Jerry Foropoulos, Jimmy Martinez, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A reception was at the Chamita Community Center.
