BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: Hollis Hollister - son of Asa, son of Nathaniel, son of Nathaniel, son of Gideon, son of, Thomas, son of John, son of John. Hollis, son of Asa Hollister and Almira Hall, was born in Bafford, Quebec, Canada, July 4, 1833; married Esther M. Clark, Aug. 20, 1854. She was born in Cabot, Vt., April 21, 1835. He was a farmer and resided at Vernon, Waukesha Co., Wis.
i. Alfred N.(?) Hollister, b.Feb. 27, 1856, m.Emma F. Bickford of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Sept. 3, 1878. They resided in St. Johnsbury, Vt.
ii. Orra L.(?) Hollister, b.March 3, 1863.
iii. Mary E.(?) Hollister, b.Aug. 30, 1865.
iv. Rose A.(?) Hollister, b.Aug. 18, 1867.
