BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: Asa Hollister - son of Nathaniel [FAG #89743065]; of Nathaniel [FAG #62542487]; of Gideon [FAG #25403849]; of Thomas [FAG #16539368]; of John [FAG #49033360]; of John [FAG #34189966].

Asa, son of Dr. Nathaniel Hollister and Prudence Strickland, was born in Vermont - probably, Irasburg, March 29, 1799, He married Almira Hall, Dec. 28, 1823. She was born in Topsham, Vt., March 2, 1804, and died in Mukwanago, Wis., May 24, 1864. He died in Vernon, Wis., June 29, 1858. Was a farmer and blacksmith.
