A resident of Port Allen, he died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at age 75. Visiting at Grant's Westside Funeral Services in Port Allen on Friday, March 18, from noon to 4 p.m. Visiting resumes at Christ Baptist Church, Port Allen, on Saturday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Phillip Joseph. Interment in Christ Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Moore and husband Dwight Sr., of Houston, and Carolyn Wright, of Port Allen; a son, Kenneth Wright and wife Cordula, of Dallas; five grandchildren, Dwight Jr., Tasha, Dominic, Celina and Aaron; and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Wright; parents, Andrew and Angelina Wright; two brothers and two sisters.
