Born to D. Ford and Lillie Jones, in Rush Springs, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chickasha, the Chickasha Altrusa Club, and the Greater Oklahoma Antique Dealers Association in Oklahoma City.
On Oct. 29, 1929, she married Glen ‘Rocky’ Acord, in Marlow, he preceded her in death in 1981.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Carra Dowling, and Mildred Wilson.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Dean Copeland of Pampa, TX ; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held April 2, at the Rush Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home Directors of Pampa and Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home.
