There may be more stones in this old burying ground, but I did not find them among the cedars growing all about. A prominent citizen, past middle life, told me that there was standing, 25 or 30 years ago, a tombstone to the memory of Martha Hand, and that, at that time, it had been 125 years. He also said that she, Martha Hand, was the last person buried there.
