Donald Donnie Glende, 70, of Nett Lake died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at the Virginia Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 2, 1932, in Canada to Herbert and Minnie (Martin) Glende. He grew up in Wisconsin and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He held various jobs in maintenance in Nett Lake. He enjoyed fishing, watching television, visiting friends and grandchildren, yardwork and was the official dishwasher at home.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Dooda of Nett Lake; three sons, Richard Kletschka Jr. of Red Wing, Minn., Ricardo (Barb) Kletschka of Owatonna, Minn., and Roger (Lori) Kletschka of Chattanooga, Tenn.; six daughters, Peggy Kletschka Connor of Prior Lake, Minn., Dorothea (Vernon) Boney of Nett Lake, Cinie Brosheurs of Waterville, Minn., Pam Dauk of Cleveland, Minn., Roxy (Scott) Tolzmann of Mankato, Minn., and Robin (Kevin) Nordberg of Hutchinson, Minn.; a sister, Verna Halida, of Lubin, Wis.; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
