Emigrated in 1843 one year after four of their sons. She, her husband, Christian and their two sons who had been detained due to their commitment in the services, came via the ship, Barque Hualco that landed in New York from Hamburg Aug 21st 1843. Their only daughter, Christine, married to John Suelflow made the journey with the first 4 sons, but unfortunately Christine who was pregnant with their third child died inroute along with their newborn, and were buried at sea. Her husband and their son and daughter survived.
