Mrs. Emil Abel, 63, wife of the village marshal in Reedsville, died early today at the Holy Family hospital. She submitted to an operation a few days ago.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Reedsville Cooperative Funeral Home and at 2 o'clock at the SS John-James Lutheran church, Reedsville, with interment in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Abel, nee Millie Kurth, was born in Maple Grove in 1882 and in 1921 was married to Mr. Abel. They located in Reedsville.
Survivors are the husband, two daughters, (private); brother, Otto, of Maple Grove; six sisters, Mrs. Charles Goldbeck, Sr., Mrs. Louis Maertz of Maple Grove, Mrs. Henry Hackbarth of Hilbert, Mrs. Ernest Schmalz and Mrs. Raab of Milwaukee, Mrs. August Becker of Rockland; and five grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Sunday.
