She married first Joseph Eugene Wilson on 1 October 1971, at the Bible Baptist Church, Coffeyville, Montgomery County, Kansas. Their children are Shelly Jean and Matthew. They made their home in Coffeyville.

Nancy Jean Patton
Celebration of Life Services for Nancy Jean Patton were 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 at Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sean McCoy officiating.
Interment followed in Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
The family has suggested memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, and contributions may be left at Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Patton, 59, of Sperry, passed away at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011.
She was born Jan. 1, 1952 in Oswego, Kan., to Joseph A. and Ellen (Ellsworth) Rhodes. She grew up in Edna, Kan. She graduated from Labette County Community High School in 1969.
Nancy later in life met Gary Patton and the couple were companions for eight years before being united in marriage March 12, 2005 in Eureka, Springs, Ark. The couple made their home in Tulsa and Sperry.
Nancy worked for Wal-Mart in Sand Springs as an oversized load escort driver and most recently was employed by Securitas/Verizon as a security guard.
She was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Skiatook and the Cherokee Nation. She liked to play the piano and ride motorcycles, and was a great cook.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Joe Rhodes.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Gary Patton of the home; her mother, Ellen Rhodes of Edna, Kan.; two children, Shelly Kingery and husband Jay of Chanute, Kan., and Matthew Wilson and wife Jennifer of Garden City, Kan.; three brothers, John Rhodes, Mark Rhodes and Philip Rhodes; three sisters, Sue Sovereign, Sandra Nash and Naomi Smith; seven grandchildren; two step-children, Elizabeth Sullivan and Leslie Givens; four step grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Casket escorts for the services were Storme Jones, Tristen Wilson, Garrison Kingery, Gage Kingery, Chase Kingery, Rick Hedrick, Richard Postier and Steve Guzair.
Music for the services was "You Say It Best When You Say Nothing At All," "A Mothers Love" and "There You'll Be."
Funeral services and interment were under the direction of Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
