According to a family member, Floyd was a son of Dan Neal and wife Hattie Presley Neal. Mrs. Neal's 1986 obituary (Circleville Herald, Ohio, 01 Apr 1 1986) says she was preceded in death by her husband and three sons, Clarence, Homer and Floyd Neal.
