Roy Lee Long, age 81, passed away Friday, July 21 at Highland Manor Nursing Home. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 30. He was a veteran of World War H and served on the Pulaski County Democratic Committee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Haley Long; one son, Floyd H. Long, and one grandson, Douglas Quesenberry. Surviving are one son, Maurice (Duke) Long, Radford; three daughters, Mrs. Doris L. Werner, Mrs Colleen Annie Oakley, both of Radford; Mrs. Mackie L. Waltz, Elliston; nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Seaver-Sanders Funeral home with. John Crews and Robert Eldridge officiating. Interment will follow in the Haley Cemetery in Pulaski.
