Rogelio Davila Jr., age 52 passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Rogelio was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Leandra Hernandez; grandfather, Rafael Davila; father, Rogelio Davila Sr.; son, Rogelio Davila III; and father-in-law, Jose Blanco Sr.
Rogelio leaves behind his wife, Linda B. Davila; daughter, Christina Davila; mother, Bertina Galvan; sisters: Reyna Dina Susana and Michelle; step-mother, Ostollia Davila; grandchildren: Ashley Nicole, Samantha Alexis, Christopher, Enrique Jose, Jasmine, Jezebel, and Jedidah; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, brother and sisters-in-law.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., that same evening.
Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, at 10:00 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Burial to follow at Descanso Eterno II, in Mathis, TX..
