My Paternal Great-Grandmother Henrietta Lavina Hopkins was born January 9 1847 Chenango County, New York. She was the daughter of Maturin J. Hopkins and Lydia (McCool)(Adams) Hopkins. She lived with her parents in Chenango, NY till around 1865. By 1866 they are living in Whiteside County, Illinois. Henrietta met and married my Great-Grandfather Alexander L. Clark on September 28 1868 in Whiteside County, Illinois.
