Mrs. Hazel L. Walker, age 81, widower of the late Henry Ford Walker, Sr., departed this life august 4, 2011 in Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill.
She is survived by six children: Henry Ford Walker, Jr., South Hill, Rev. Dr. Herman L. Walker (Diane) of Dayton, Ohio, Saint W. Walker (Shirley) of Freeman, Theodore R. Walker of the home, Hazel W. Jones of South Hill, and Stanley M. Walker (Grizzell) of La Crosse; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held Wednesday at Bethel Memorial R.Z.U.A. Church, La Crosse. Rev. Dr. Herman Walker officiating, Rev. Malcolm Crutchfield presiding. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Feggins Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
