Mrs. Leslie Bounds
Blue Grass - Death claimed Mrs. Leslie Bounds of this community at Wesley Hospital last Wednesday afternoon. After intense suffering for several months from gall-bladder trouble, her only hope of relief seemed to be an operation to which she submitted on Wednesday, and was apparently rallying satisfactorily, when embolism occurred, causing her immediate death.
Anna Marie Hanson was born June 18, 1900, at Edgerton, Minnesota. When thirteen years old she moved here with her parents and has continued to live in the locality since.
In 1918, on October 3, she was married to Leslie Bounds, who, with three children, Pearl, Merle and Maurice, mourn her untimely demise. The youngest child is 10. Eight brothers, Ole of Detroit, Mich., Oscar and Carl of Edgerton, Minnesota, Art, George and Hans, Wadena, Albert and Harold of Blue Grass, and one sister, Violet of Park Rapids, also survive.
Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at the Lutheran church at Blue Grass, Rev. Peterson officiating. A very large crowd of relatives and friends were in attendance.
Those who attended the funeral from a distance were Mrs. Inga Larson of Minneapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Koplin of Rochester, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hanson and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hanson of Edgerton, Minnesota
