Roosevelt Junior Chaney, 51, of Ferrum, died on Friday, April 25, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born April 25, 1957, to Margaret Griffith Chaney, of Ferrum, and the late Roosevelt Chaney. Also preceding Junior in death was an infant sister, Teresa Ann Chaney; infant niece, Tiffany Michelle Chaney; grandparents, Homer Thomas Griffith and Ora Blanch Mountcassell and Melvin Lawrence Chaney and Etta Mae Wright Worley. Surviving to cherish his memory along with his mother are son, Toby Lee Chaney and friend, Teresa Atkins; sister and brother-in-law, Margie C. Angle and husband, Gene, of Ferrum; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael Todd Chaney and wife, Renee, of Henry, Barry Keith Chaney and wife, Donna, of Floyd, Gregory Daryl Chaney, of Ferrum; nephews, Brandon Chaney, of Hardy, Judson Holley, of Henry; nieces, Kay Dale Reed, of Floyd, Kelsey Chaney, of Henry; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
