DRESDEN -- Martha Ardell Cooper, 94, of Dresden, died March 3, 2004, at the Weakley County Nursing Home.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sidonia Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Perkins and Bro. Ronnie Hawkins officiating. Burial was in Alamo Cemetery near Rives. Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Cooper was born Jan. 19, 1910, in Weakley County, the daughter of Stewart and Mini Baldridge Lee. She was a homemaker and a member of Sharon First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Gaylon Horn of Gleason and Sherry Frazier of Milan; three sisters, Anze Rachels, Ethline Scearce and Eva Peral Hawkins, all of Sharon; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Cooper and her son, Bill Cooper.
