After having been in bed for the past six months, during which time she has failed rapidly, Mrs F.S. Antes, aged 79, died Saturday night at 10 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs J.A. Clemons, of old age and general debility.
Mrs Antes was born Johnson in Pulaski, New Yor, in 1935. In 1879 she came west, and settled near Clemons, where she has always lived. Her husband died ten years ago.
She is survived by two children, Mesdames J.A. Clemons, of Clemons; and Sarah Ferney, of Arkansas. She leaves also one brother in New York City.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Christian Church in Clemons, with burial in the Clemons Cemetery.
