He was a charter memger of the Southwestern Cattlemans Association.

He died in the original part of the Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, Texas which is the oldest cemetery in Graham.

UCV is on his headstone, which is United Confederate Veteran.

Eleanor is buried next to him, according to family Historians and only a rock shows her grave.

This family raised an Elizabeth Lizzie Wampee Holman.
