BAYBORO - Gary Wayne Armstrong, 53, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at home. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy.
He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Smith and Samantha Armstrong, both of Grantsboro; three brothers, Johnny Armstrong of China Grove, Ronnie Armstrong of Reelsboro and Gerald Armstrong of Aurora; five sisters, Eleanor Harrell of New Bern, Mary Lamb of New Bern, Laura Syers of Arapahoe, Kathy Toler of Alliance and Janice Hill of Cove City; and one grandchild.
His funeral will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 12, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dwayne Boyd officiating. Interment will be in Celestial Memorial Gardens, Cash Corner.
