Santa Rosa, Calif. - Robert Erik Jorgensen, 53, of Santa Rosa, California, was called home on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, following an extended illness.

Born Jan. 28, 1961 in Carbondale, Illinois, Robert is the son of Varna (Howell) Heesch and the late Victor W. Jorgensen Jr. He graduated from Beverly Hills High School, attended DeVry University in Phoenix and worked in Aspen, Colorado, before moving to California.

He leaves his mother, Varna (Howell) Heesch; his brothers Erik Jorgensen and Victor Jorgensen; his sister Cheri (Jorgensen) Meiners, her husband, David, and children, Kara, Erika, James, Daniel, Julia, Andrea; stepfather Craig F. Heesch and his children Craig A. Heesch and Coleen (Heesch) Flint; stepmother Susan (Eldredge) Jorgensen and her sons Chris, David, Edward, Eric, Daniel and James.

Graveside services to be held at North Logan City Cemetery at 1 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 23. Family and friends are then invited to meet at North Logan 14th Ward, 1650 E. 2600 North.
