Leo Kugler, 81, Wall Lake and formerly of Friberg Township, died Saturday, April 2, at Lake Region Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls, with Rev. Dan C. Abrahams officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Friberg Township.
Born in Friberg Township on Nov. 7,1921, he was one of four children of Otto and Alice (Timms) Kugler. He was baptized and confirmed at St. James Catholic Church in Maine, Minn., attended school in District 159 and in 1949, graduated from Reich Auctioneering School.
On March 9, 1957, he and Emma Pearson were married at Fosston.
He worked on the family farm, taking over the operation from his father in 1958. After retiring from farming in 1978, he and his wife moved to Wall Lake. He had been employed in sales of used farm equipment and cars. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Friberg Township.
Visitation at Glende-Johnson-Nelson Funeral home will be all day today and Tuesday.
Visitation at the church will be one hour prior to services Wednesday morning.

He was married to Emma Pearson on March 9, 195 at Fosston, Minnesota. They continued farming until 1978 at which time the moved to Wall Lake. Leo was currently involved in te United Auto and Implement business. He died on Saturday, April 2, 1983 at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, MN.
