Infant daughter of Homer Call and Nancy Merrell. She died at four months old & was ORGINALLY buried HERE at the Willard Pioneer Cemetery. [NOTE: No burials were made in Willard Precinct Cemetery, formerly named "Willard City Cemetery" prior to its COMPLETION, December 1869].
Afterward, several of her siblings & her mother died & were buried in the family lot at the "new" cemetery, 1/2 mile southeast.
Sarah was, according to family lore, removed from the pioneer cemetery & re-interred there on 22 March 1907, to be with the family
This account was taken from family records, but no official record of it exists. There is a belief that only the stone was moved, because of the 43 year span following an infant burial in a wooden container.
Her marker is now in her father's lot. It is between her brother Oel Vasco & her sister Mary Eveline, Ward 7 Block 4 Lot 2 Grave 7.
