Coffey, DAVID CARL, age 45, of Rutledge, was born June 9, 1960 and passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2005 at home. He professed faith in Christ at an early age at Clinch Dale Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tandy and Girlden Dalton and Elighe and Martha Coffey. He is survived by one son, David Henry Wayne Coffey and fiancee, Tandy Reed of Rutledge; father and mother, Henry and Christine Dalton Coffey of Thorn Hill; three sisters, Helen Ann Payne, Jannett Barnard of Bean Station and Bernice Coffey Dalton of Morristown; two brothers, Herb Coffey and James Coffey, both of Rutledge; sisters-in-law, Joan Coffey and Darlene Coffey, both of Rutledge; severalnieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was a wonderful father and friend and will be sadly missed by special friends, girlfriend, Deborah "Sis" Wynne and sons, Brandon Wynne and Justin Morrow of Rutledge. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30 at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stevie Johnson and the Rev. Frankie Holt officiating. Singers will be the Oak Hill Quartet. Burial will be in the Atkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell.
