He was born March 2, 1921 in Wayne Township to James K. and Lucinda (Hallman) Blose.
He was a former construction worker and for the past 30 years was a lumber grader at Barrett Lumber Co. in Dayton.
He was a veteran in World War II, serving in the US Army as a SGT 1st Class. He was a member of the VFW in New Bethlehem.
Survivors include one daughter, Renata Lee Blose, at home, three brothers, Stanley Eugene Blose of Milton, John Blose of Bonita Spring, FL and Henry Jackson Blose of Milton; three sisters, Mrs. James (Pauline) Hosey of Rimersburg, Mrs. Raymond (Beulah) Lair of Dania, FL and Mrs. John Dorothy) Perry of Frostburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen (Radziminski) Blose, who died July 10, 1957; four brothers, Kenny, James, Robert Lee and William Blose and one sister, Florence Stonbraker
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Sagamore with the Rev. Robert Moslener, officiating. Burial will be in the Milton Cemetery.
