"Brian Allan Swanson, 21, of Marble Dale died April 2 at New Milford Hospital, the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Roxbury.
He was born Oct. 2, 1980 in New Milford, the son of Allan K Swanson, Jr. and Darlene Bushman McLain of Bowdon, GA. He was a graduate of Shepaug Valley High School, Class of 1999.
Mr. Swanson was employed by Waters Construction Company of New Milford.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Swanson is survived by his step-mother, Lynda Swanson of Marble Dale and his stepfather, Darryl McLain of Bowdon, GA; his maternal grandparents, Anthony and Genevieve Bushman of Fort Lauderdale, FL., stepsisters Nichole and Jordan and stepbrothers Dustan and George all of Georgia; and several aunts and uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Allan K. and Gloria J. Swanson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the First Congregational Church of Washington. Burial was in the Underwood Meadows Cemetery, New Preston.
The Colonial Funeral Home of New Milford was in charge of the arrangements.
