Born at Southampton, Colonel WILLIAM CHRISTIAN ANDERSON, served in the Royal Field Artillery, Unit Text: 79th Bde. He died 28th June 1917 at the age of 59 years the son of William Christian Anderson and Wilhelmina Harriett Gordon Anderson. He was married to the late Mary Anderson, of 36, Khartoum Road, Southampton. He re-joined on outbreak of war and served in the Zulu (1879) and Egyptian (1885) Campaigns.
